Karu is a Finnish word. It describes ground that gives nothing away — rock, wind, low birch. The clothing is designed in Kiruna and cut for that ground.

Most of it gets worn somewhere else. That was always the plan.

Fabric decisions are made above the treeline and priced accordingly. There is no second line, no diffusion range, no logo bigger than a stitch.
